their art/arch program?

Are you interested in art or architecture? I don't know about the art program (it's a different school, arch is within the Graduate School of Arch, Preservation and Planning [GSAPP]), but the M. Arch program is one of the best in the country. It is ranked #3 behind harvard and MIT in DI.net, and their international reputation is outstanding.

Is there something more specific that you'd like to know?

I would assume he means the BS or BA in Architecture, which is granted through Columbia College.

oh, then I have no idea! :)

Undergraduates can major in Architecture where they are in a special program that is part of the major and they take classes at Columbia Graduate School o Architecture. It is not a program that you apply to, nor is it something you get a degree from. The purpose is to make you a more attractive candidate for admission to graduate programs in architecture over those who apply to graduate programs and do not have any background in it Columbia's graduate school of architecture is considered one of the best in the country
