ASAP-Alumni meeting

Did anyone get a call from a Cornell Alumni concerning a informational meeting?

I've just got a call for a meeting four minutes ago for an
informational metting with a Cornell Alumni in my area set for
the day after tomorrow and although the person said that
it's just a informational meeting with no surprises,
my stomach's already churning up blood.

Can anyone help me out?

-The purpose of the meeting
-What is expected of the meeting (open mind? or formal suit?)
-Setting (I know it'll be at starbucks 40minutes after my school ends
and I was wondering if all the students from my school applying to
Cornell will be there or not.)
-How much can I whine to the alumni?
-Tips ?

Wow. So did you not bother to read any of the other threads asking about alumni contact sessions?

What in hell would you whine about? Do not whine.

My apologies. Just had a momentary panic attack. Reading the past questions on the subject. Thanks!

That was very helplful. Especially the part about somewhere along the line of 'people who get alumni meetings do not get into Cornell.' Thanks for brining me back to the reality. Perhaps I was dreaming all this time.

But I am in love. If the reality does not see that, then the reality is reality no more. I choose the dream. The dream shall be my reality.

uh, you sure you understood? I had an alumni mtg. I have never read the posts on this topic because I didn't think the mtg was that interesting. I didn't have questions about Cornell cuz I'd done my research, but it was enjoyable.
