ASB Dilemma

Ok.. so I'm a senior and was recently elected next year's ASB Vice-President. The problem: The senior class treasurer is trying to take over my job! For example, some of my school's officers recently went to leadership camp. The ASB Pres. couldn't go and so I figured it was my duty to take care of the driving arrangements. The next thing I know, the sr. class treasurer has taken care of it. I was sort of frustrated with her because although I am sort of friends with both she and our ASB Pres., they are better friends. I think she has been using that friendship to get a leg-up. I told my ASB President that I am his Vice, and am more than happy to take care of details if he is absent or overloaded (and that it is my duty!). He replied saying he needed to step up and take care of things himself. During camp, the present officers from my school decided we should have a meeting before school starts. Once again, the sr. class treasurer has begun to take over this. What should I do to stop her from taking over??!! Neither she nor I have ever done ASB before, but I am much more reliable and a much harder worker. It seems to me that she just wants some initial attention, but it's driving me crazy. Should I just start calling people to plan the meeting? Please help me so that she doesn't take over!

lol
I had some drama with leadership earlier this year, too. Except the person I was running against decided to start rumors about me to get people to not vote for me! It didn't work! I think you should just talk to her about it and let her know that you feel that you should be doing more work because you're the vice. Say that you're feeling as though you're not working enough and that you want to take more of the responsibility. But yeah, you should squash it now before school starts, because she'll just keep doing what she's doing.
