Ascending GPA, Does Harvard even care?

I was wondering if Harvard would recognize academic improvement and growth. My freshman year wasn't very good with a 3.1gpa, my sophomore year was better with a 3.5, and my junior year is looking great with a 4.0.
On a 100 scale I had about a 78 Freshman year, 88 sophomore and hopefully a 98-99 junior year. Haven't taken the sat's but I should be at 2200 if i do as well as my psats.
I checked the Academic index calculators I fell in about 210-215 so 5-10 below harvard average.
I'm also an athlete and I would like to be recruited.

Do I even have a chance academically?

I am curious about that too. My combined GPA is, unfortunately, not outstanding. However, if you graph out my GPAs since freshman year, the graph will be a stiff ascending stair (i jumped about .5 points GPA/year, like fr 3.8 to 4.2, and then to 4.6).
Will Harvard adcom look closely at these…minute details?
thanks for any reply ^^

yeah they will… First of all if your an athelete the academic requirement might me decreased slightly…

Also the ADcoms will notice a steep increase… especially if you get your Guidance counselor to point it out in the SSR…

an increasing GPA is a good thing… it would be better to have straight A’s no doubt… but don’t worry about it too much… theres nothing you can do now … just keep improving! don’t stop…

Im in the same boat :D
