Im Asian Indian. I hear Vandy is trying to diversify their school, so would I be considered a Underrepresented Minority at Vandy though most asians would not fit this category at many other schools...?

Considering that there are about 13,103,497 Asian Americans out of a total population of about 282,909,885, the national percentage of Asians is right around 4.63%. This means that the 6.90% population of Asians at Vanderbilt makes this specific ethnic group not an underrepresented group.

i suppose. Asians would not normally considered urms at most schools, like out West for example. But in the South, they usually are.
