Asian male vs Asian female in college admission

I know when your race is Asian, you're pretty much doomed in college admission. (I'm jk, so chill out bro). But between AA male and AA female, I always feel that AA females have more chance in getting in since they're less likely to choose Math or Science as majors, or some other reasons. Do you think it is true?

I don’t think it matters too much unless the applicant is international. I would think then the college could be a little more appalled at how a female is applying from a country that typically shuns away opportunities from girls in favor of boys (i.e. India, China).

I think it’s really only engineering where there’s any sort of mass male-female difference, and even then, it’s not THAT much.

Females in general probably have a slightly higher admission rate into engineering majors (and some other math/science majors) just because they’re heavily outnumbered. The Asian distinction shouldn’t make any difference though.
