Aside from Northwestern

Where else did you apply?

please indicate the schools that have turned your application down too, if possible. Thanks. :)

All of the Ivies except one. Emory. Georgetown SFS. SUNY Binghamton. I was accepted to SUNY honors, Emory and NU, with Waitlists at Cornell, Brown and SFS (which is actually harder to do then get in, statistically lol).

I did not pursue any waitlists.

so no one aside from arbiter213 has been accepted anywhere except NU???

Is this for Class of 2014?

I applied ED to Northwestern, RD to University of Washington, Washington State, Tulane, depending on Northwestern, I could possibly be applying to Vassar, Brown, Wellesley, Dartmouth, Cornell, or Stanford just because I want to see what happens…I’m hopeful and optimistic.

I got a pretty big scholarship to Washington State that I’m not going to take because the University of Washington is a much better school and I would rather go there.

Northwestern is my absolute number one choice…I hope everything works out well for me.

I turned down Michigan to attend Northwestern.

Now, I’m attending Michigan for graduate study.

I applied RD to NU, Augustana, Illinois Wesleyan University, Lake Forest College, Grinnell, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Lawrence University, and Washington and Lee University. I have a feeling I’m forgetting one, but that’s all I can think of right now.

Accepted: NU, Augustana, Illinois Wesleyan, Lake Forest, Grinnell, U of I, Lawrence
Rejected: Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth
Wait-listed: W & L (I sort of applied half-heartedly to this one, mostly only because it had the free application offer, and I sent in the application with some parts missing, and when I was wait-listed, I didn’t pursue it.)

If I remember that last college later on, I’ll add it…

You didn’t clarify what year- that was class of 2011 (HS 2007) for me.

applied to Northwestern, Harvard, Yale, Brown, Emory, UChicago, WashU, Rice.
accepted to Northwestern, Yale, Brown, Emory, UChicago, WashU, and Rice.
waitlisted Harvard but I still love it.
denied nowhere.

rc2814;
you applied to UW? I applied there, it’s my top school, but I have heard it is ridiculously hard to get into, so I’m very unsure. plus they take unweighted gpa which is really disappointing.

What kind of stats do you know about UW?

I have 3.4 weighted, 3.1 unweighted.
SAT is 1960
Reading: 650
Math: 650
Writing: 660
