RDers, what other schools did u apply to? is NU your top choice?

i applied to 10 other schools. NU is not necessarily my top choice, but it's not on the bottom of my list either.

i applied to 6 other schools (2 of which are backups)

like hotpiece101, northwestern isn't my top choice, but it's not a backup either.

U Chicago
Mount Holyoke
Bradley U
UCLA
UCI
Cal

stanford, penn, georgetown, tufts, brown, dartmouth, northwestern, columbia, harvard, chicago, william and mary, usc, gw...forgetting a few places but yea.

UC's, NYU, USC, NU (first choice)

Univ of WA, UCSD and UCB, JHU, Cornell, RPI

I applied to 9 including NWU, but I'm least interested with NWU! And I dont know why?!

UK and NU.

a) I was lazy
b) UK is offering me a full ride, so I see no need to go out of state unless I get into NU.

penn (first coice)
notre dame
emory
northwestern
u of florida

Hmm... I barely realized that the first word of the original post is "RDers." Sorry folks!

tufts, wesleyan, washu, american, michigan, osu

18 other schools, and i'm fond of nu and its definitely up there on my list

_themisfit - did u do GSP, or just get a scholarship anyway?

Northwestern is my first choice.. then a bunch of liberal arts women's schools (Barnard, Wellesley, Smith, Bryn Mawr), east coast liberal arts (Vassar, Wesleyan), NYU, some west coast schools...and most University of California schools.

Other than Northwestern I applied to Wash U (edI deferred), emory, michigan, gw; accepted at: tulane, pitt, penn st and indiana... Wash U is still my first choice but northwestern is up there, I am just concerned it is too cut throat for it to be my number 1

My son: NW, Yale, UVA, Middlebury, Davidson plus in early action at BC, Notre Dame, and Michigan.

I didn't do GSP-I had to work this summer. Did you? If so, what campus were you at?

I applied to Northwestern, Tufts, Vassar, Lehigh, U of Rochester, George Washington, U of Virginia, Umass-Amherst, Uconn

NU is by far my first choice.
