Ask a 2.67 gpa asian kid who got into Rutgers Business School anything you want?

Background:
2.6690 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Mostly B’s freshmen year to mostly C’s and D’s junior year; downward progression of grades; 2 D’s in junior year from core math classes(Precalculus honors and AP Statistics)

1 on AP Stat Test, 3 on AP Comp Sci Test

Terrible work ethic; complaints from teachers

is this a joke did you actually get in?

If so congrats

How did you get in I’m confused?

I think it’s a joke. Two days ago they asked for chancing, then suddenly “got their decision” right after.

Nope 100% real, I was asking the “chance me” to see if people remotely thought I would get in

People didn’t even bother commenting cause they thought I had no shot, I actually got in a few weeks ago. Dont Sleep.

@tiffhenriques12 when there is a will there is a way(didn’t get in through connections btw)

Congratulations.

Just keep doing what you’re doing. Especially the “terrible work ethic” and “downward progression of grades”

You’ll be fine.

@STEM2017 All A’s senior year including calc, fixed my act. Thanks for the support

@theunderdawg what was your ACT and SAT?

Luckily Rutgers doesn’t look at senior year grades otherwise you would have ruined your downward progression.

This is NOT a joke. Really ?? May be we should confirm from another source what you are telling us to believe it. Thank God you did not apply to CoE.

@tiffhenriques12 2100 SAT did not take ACT or other subject tests

@STEM2017 they requested my mid-year grades probably due to extenuating circumstances that I wrote in the additional info section of my app.

@grtd2010 EC’s helped out a lot to prove my case. Struggled with ADD and couldn’t perform in classroom, but everything outside proved what I was really capable of accomplishing. This post is not a joke by any means, I want to give people like me some hope because this college process is extremely stressful, and we all take W’s and L’s.

@theunderdawg thank you for this  are you attending?

@tiffhenriques12 still waiting to see what my options are. Love the internship opportunities at Rutgers which is backed up by the high return on investment. Great school honestly has gotten much better over the years.

I was accepted to the Newark Business school and NB SAS with a 2.79 GPA and an 1880 SAT. But for me, my grades had a massive upward trend and I had an insane amount of ECs. (Theater, Varsity Fencing, Robotics, etc.) I also had a very good essay according to most people who read it. Not sure why they let you in but nevertheless congrats man.

Accepted to New Brunswick Business and Newark Business @mikefencer123 which one would you recommend? Newark is closer to NYC which makes it convenient for internships and opportunities, but people say NB has more of the college feel.
