I have some questions for you! I am looking from a transfer student point of view so I hope you can help me out in that matter. Currently, I attend Drexel as a sophomore in Finance. I wish to transfer into Fordham so bad...

So here goes: Where the heck' is the College of Business located?

Will I have any classes in all of the campuses? (Meaning, will I be in the Bronx campus, Manhattan campus...)

How is housing? How much do (gulp) appartments run around the campus? (By campus, I mean near where the CofBiz is located...)

I think I'll leave it at that for now...I hope I didn't ask any of these questions that has been previously answered, as I did not go through the 3 pages here so far! I will be applying for the 12/1 deadline as a Spring semester transfer. I can't wait to be in NYC!

I can probably answer some questions for you...

college of business is located at the Rose Hill campus in the bronx - the dept. itself is located at Faber Hall.

you will most likely have the bulk of your classes at your home campus, if you're in business that would be RH. students are obliged to take all major course study courses at their home campus, but you can bounce back and forth between LC and RH for the liberal study core courses and electives.

Thanks for your answers! I'm glad that I'll be able to bounce back and forth, as I would love to get into Manhattan. I wouldn't mind the Bronx campus at all neither. So would you recommend looking for apartments around that area? Should I commute from NJ where I'm originally from?

I'm not too big on long commutes, so I would definitely recommend staying close to school. Plus, in the bronx apts. are much cheaper but harder to find, and if you stay close to RH campus then it'd be a zip to get back and forth from the city since you have many different options including the Ramvan and the Metro North which are my two favorite choices to get in and out of manhattan. The former takes you to the west side and the latter to the east of the city.

How hard is it to switch majors once accepted into a program? For instance, if an incoming freshman is accepted into a projected polisci major and wants to switch to business administration, what would this process entail?
