No Saturday classes at Andover…No Saturday classes at Deerfield…
No (or very few) Saturday classes in Exeter either.
As a new junior at Lville (rising V former), I found Saturday classes to be rather hard to get used to. Luckily, I had a free on Saturday, so I only had two classes (8:30 -> around 10:30). Rather ironically, the worst part about Saturday classes isn’t really having to go to class, it’s having to spend Friday night doing work in study hall. Honestly, they’re not that bad. Plus, having Saturday classes lets students have really easy Wednesdays (only morning classes).

- What made Lawrenceville so special? Why L'ville?
- What did teachers do if the Harkness discussions got too off-topic or led to a wrong conclusion? How did Harkness affect your life?
- Well... It was the only school I got into (whew). But after two years here, I've really enjoyed the connections I've made and it couldn't have gone any better.
- Generally, in Harkness discussions teachers act as facilitators. So if the discussions get too off-track, they'll generally ask a guiding question to get everybody back on the right topic. Harkness has really taught me to love learning and sharing my ideas with my amazing peers.
