OK...just another humble opinion....get a pair of black dress pants to go with your black shoes. You can wear a nice shirt or sweater, or knit top. To be honest, the first impression the interviewer has of you will be your appearance. You want that to be a positive one. DS interviewed in 7 places all with a tie and shirt, and khakis. DD has interviewed in four places so far, with nice dress slacks and a shirt (on her summer interviews she wore a nice sundress with a sweater....for the AC). Do you have a friend you could borrow a pair of slacks from? They don't have to be from Bloomingdales....Dockers type slacks are fine and you can get them at any store, even Walmart has decent dress slacks. I know one young lady who interviewed in clothes from Ocean State Job Lot (it sounds like what it is...a junk store of "odd lots"). The bottom line is you need to look nicer than you would if you were going to school or out with your friends to the movies. If you can't buy....borrow!!
