<p>Sometimes it is hard to ask for help, or to ask for a favor. Try to keep in mind that teachers teach because they want their students to succeed. Part of that success involves attending college!
With that in mind, ask the teacher you feel knows you well, and that you feel would put into writing a strong positive opinion about you. Then ASK!</p>
<p>Best way to ask:
After you identify the right teacher, go and have a nice little conversation about your senior schedule and college plans. Don't ask about the recommendation right away. You want the teacher feel really positive about you. Only after about 5 to 10 minutes of conversation ask, "I just wanted to know if you..."</p>
