Hello! Right now, I am facing a dilemma. There are only less than three weeks left before all the all the application materials are due. I am still missing recommendations from two of my teachers. Should I tell them to hurry up? I don't want to annoy them though. I arrive back to school from our winter break on the 12th, meaning there are only a few days that I get to see my teachers before the January 15th deadline. Should I ask them through email now or should I wait a bit more? Or is in person a better idea for me? Any suggestions on what to do will be appreciated. Thank you! :D

You might want to send them an email politely reminding them that the deadline is approaching.

I’m having a similar problem. None of my teachers have even approved the recs! But they are due in Feb, so I have some time.

Definitely get on that. Don’t hesitate to ask because you are nervous. If you politely ask them they of course will say yes. The sooner the better. Goodluck
