and how should one go about it artfully?

LOL details?

Detailsss! XD;

I guess you can always email him/her and as to arrange a meeting to talk and get to know each other. I don’t they would be so suspicious as many people meet with GSIs once class is over to be friends, get more information to achieve a LOR or whatever. Oh and …YES details!!!

What department? I have advice, but I need to know the target.

Lol juicyyyyyy

!!!
That’s awesome
Sorry i’m a huge sucker for stuff like this-
and i concur, details!

Dude you’re a beast.

OK I can teach you, but you need to give us more details. Are you male or female? What department? What’s the situation?

I meant GSIs

music
astro

females

unfortunately they are obviously older and may not like young men until they blossom into cougars in 10-15 years.

Not all GSIs are that much older than undergraduate students; most I’ve had have not been more than 2-3 years old than me.

Asking a GSI out seems somewhat creepy. I have added many of my GSIs as facebook friends, but asking one out is a different story

Asking out multiple GSIs at once? Impressive.

Nuclear option.

I went out with my Math 1B GSI on a few dates. Then she dropped the bomb that she got accepted into MIT and will matriculate there. We still keep in touch.

wow good job tb lol

lol you should have asked while instruction was going on so it could have additionally helped your grade

nice.

i had no idea some of you were guys…

You are inspiring. I will also ask my GSI out. I see her at the engineering library a lot. She ain’t that helpful in labs but I talk to her to make her feel helpful…

way to go, an engineering grad girl earns you extra points
