I am definitley one of those people who dont have the 9.6 and 2400 sat, etc....i would do pretty much anything to attend UC Los Angles next year and i pray to God that it works out every single day

do you think it's really worth it to transfer to ucla? i have a 3.8 UC GPA and a 27 on the ACT, and i don't think i'll make it in as a freshman. well i have a slim chance compared to most who are accepted. but by the time i graduate from high school i'll already have 60 semester college units and i don't know if it's worth it to spend another year doing TAP or whatever to get into UCLA. can you even transfer 90 semester units???

then again i do want to major in psych...so that's kinda swayed my opinion on transfering to LA, because it is worth it. but i would want to double major in economics also, but at UCLA that seems impossible. so i dont know..im a confused senior

That depends. With your high GPA, I suppose you could get into most of the other UCs, the best of which is probably UCSD. But if you really want to go to UCLA, then it is definitely worth the the extra year or two. If you really want to go to college in LA, then another possibility is to apply to USC. I don't know anything about their entering class statistics, but I think you have a good shot at getting in.

If your EFC is 0, you'll get 20K worth of loans or something like that. Soo consider finances when applying to colleges... There are ways to decrease this amount (different types of housing, etcetc) but for cost, USC might be a better choice.
