Am a high school freshman and looking for advice on what kind of ECs those who got accepted in Brown’s Integrated BS/MD program? If you could share hours of volunteering and where, hours shadowing doctors, # of research papers published, at how many and which conferences, articles written for journals and which ones? Besides medicine, am passionate on HealthCare policy. Can you advice what I can do on Healthcare policy front?

I would look at different opportunities in your area like hospitals, labs, unis.
Also this organization: www.teensinhealth.org can help you find opportunities and you can watch real doctors talk about med schools and stuff. I found it pretty cool and helpful.
