I am a high school Sophmore and aspiring managerial consultant. What ec's, classes, etc... Will prepare me for a job in management consulting and is it possble to land an internship in consulting during high school?

my friend got a management consulting job right out of undergrad, and he says that the key factor that allowed him to be competitive and land the position with Bain, was his leadership E.C.'s (president of clubs, student body officer, etc.) and the fact that he started his own window cleaning business while in H.S. and grew it from $350 invested to $18,000 sold. starting and growing a small company is a good way to go about getting the necessary skills to be a management consultant.

311griff- What school do you or your friend go to? Target school? (Ivy?)

Brigham Young University (a wannabe Ivy!!!!)

Mormons are too cool to be wanna-bes.
