Aspiring Public Health Major With Wonky Stats

Hey guys! So my stats are, as mentioned, wonky, janky, half-here half-there.

My GPA, 9-11, is 3.44 UW, 3.62 W. When HS ends, I’ll have taken 11 weighted courses- 10 AP & 1 Honors.
My SAT is 1450/2160. It’s made deciding where to apply pretty rough- I have a list of great schools, ‘safety’ schools, but I’m very, VERY open to suggestions.
My ECs are great and related to my future career path- Public Health, Social Work, etc. Some are fairly major. Despite my lackluster GPA, I am an ‘AP Scholar’ (who isn’t though!)My current list is as follows-

Tulane
Southern Methodist
University of Minnesota
Stony Brook
Boston University
Arizona State (close to home safety)
University of Arizona (close to home safety)
Indiana U (far from home but still a great school)
Ohio State
New College of Florida
Miami University, Oxford

I’m willing to cut some off the list, and could really use suggestions re: which schools I should look into. I am a senior, but also a first-gen American, so I haven’t exactly had tons of resources.

First run the Net Price Calculators on each school’s web site to see if your family can afford the school. I doubt you’ll get anything but limited federal financial aid at most of your out of state public Us (like Indiana, Minnesota). Some offer merit aid (tOSU, Miami) which you may be offered.

You may be eligible for an 18K scholarship (about three quarters tuition) at Temple with your stats. It depends on how they weight your GPA. Our son has almost identical numbers to yours. If you’re a National Merit Semifinalist there will be other options as well.
