As of now, I’m in a bit of a tight place as I’ve found that it’s the day of my application deadline and my teacher has yet to submit a recommendation, however, I’ve heard that colleges are generally lenient with this portion of the application and that common app allows you to submit your application as long as you have them “assigned” to the college.
I have two applications I’m looking to get in tonight, and they are finished, however, I cannot figure out how to assign the same teacher to both colleges, as the common app is saying he has to accept his invitation? He hasn’t accepted his invitation I believe and he is not answering his email so it seems that I will only be able to have his recommendation for one college, because when I add him as a recommender, it automatically assigns him, but when I try to add him for a second college, CommonApp tells me “I have already invited a recommender with this email address.” How can I assign him to the second college?
Edit: It turns out for my second college I don’t need a teacher recommendation, which is why the option to assign him wasn’t showing. My apologies.
