are any of you CCC transfers bothering to get your associates degree before you transfer?

I will be getting two

I got mine by default LOL

I become eligible to get one once i take poli sci but eh... rather not.
I somehow find it a waste of time and money to take a course that I do not need at all. ;)

Hrrm..my counseler told me to ignore it if I was gettin a bachelors

It's generally not worth it unless you get it by completing your classes needed to transfer. It has very little added value.

Yeah, I just found out I was eligible from the classes I had already taken. All I had to do was fax in a petition so I thought why not. :)

Yeah most of my transfer classes fell into place with an AA degree, so i thought why not. Also I need it for some scholarships im applying to

Yeah I got it. But no employers cared that I had an AS degree so I'm back in school LOL

I got one - I only had to fill out a couple of forms, and since it’s not in my major, I figure it couldn’t hurt. Since it’s in Spanish, it may actually be useful (some sort of proof that I speak the language, versus just my say-so).
