Hey. Lol, I just made the whole ASK thing up. I'm pretty sure nothing like that exists. Anyways, I am short :(. It's not so big a deal that I'm worrying about it day and night, as I'm 5'3 which isn't THAT bad, but I want to grow. I'm 15 and I'm one of the shortest kids in highschool. Most freshmen are taller than me :(. Anyways, how tall are you guys, and what diamonds can you shed on the whole vertically challenged predicament?

I know, for the most part, that it is mostly based on genetics, but I have short parents, and I want to do whatever I can to reach my max or go past :). I haven't grown for a whole year, then in the last three weeks, I suddenly grew about a cm, and I'm hoping I'm starting up again. Lol.

I'm 6'1" and have surpassed both of my parents' heights (hopefully you will too!). However, ideally I would still like to grow another 2-3 inches.

I haven't grown in a while though. I might be done growing, but who knows?

I'm 5'5" (male). Yay! Most of the eighth graders are taller than me, and I'm a senior. Mwahaha.

I think you really just have to make up for the shortness with a confidence boost. I would never sacrifice my good qualities for height. And I just tell myself that there's no reason why taller people should be considered better, so I don't feel inferior because of my lack of height.

I'm 5'3" female sophomore. I haven't grown since I was in fifth or sixth grade. I might have grown a fourth or so of an inch, but not enough to really change my measurements at the doctor.

^ haha you're the same as me 5'3'' sophomore, and haven't grown since 8th grade. Actually I think 0.25 inches but I don't think that really counts. I haven't surpassed my mother either but my younger sister has...Nor have I gained a pound since 7th...yeah..weird.

^ Same here. Same weight 125. If I were to actually exercise I might be less, but this is, according to my doctor (just went a few weeks aga :)) is my "healthy weight".

I have a friend who is a sophomore and HE is 5'3".
In middle school he was 4'11". I'm kind of dissappointed because I know he's going to be taller than me, but oh well. I guess it's good for him.
