Has anyone taken this course yet? If you guys did, can you tell me how much physics you need?

I haven't, but know people who have. You can go in knowing nothing, really, and be alright. Many people enjoy it.

I'm in Astro 10 now with Filippenko. i think it's great (of course, I'm an astrophysics major). You definitely can enter with no knowledge of the subject. If you find astronomy interesting, definitely sign up for the class.

Whats the difference betweeen Astronomy 10 and C10?

The Astro 7 series require hardcore physics (Phys 7 series). Astro 10/C10 is for L&S majors and focuses on descriptive stuff.

I'm not sure about "for L&S majors," but it's certainly descriptive, and does not require hardcore physics.

Yeah, Filippenko even said students can get an A in L&S C70U without getting any math questions right.

I would say if your looking for a class to eat up 4 units, Astro C10 should definitely be it.
