Does anyone have any inside info/personal experience with the ASURE program at IU? It seems really cool/interesting and I just applied but I don’t really know a lot about the program itself. Thoughts?
We are wondering the same thing. My son is a direct admit to the COAS, just like you are. We talked to a History Major from the Hutton Honors College, and she wasn’t aware of the Asure program, so it must be relatively new. My son is a Cox Research Scholarship candidate and we were thinking that the Asure program might be be to much if he was to get the Cox scholarship. You can only do so much research and still be able to get your regular class work done.
ahh ok, thank you! It seems really interesting and a great opportunity early on for research. I was concerned about the workload however and doing that in addition to my major’s course load. I guess we’ll just have to see
Is the ASPIRE program the same at the ASURE program?
Yes. I typed it incorrectly I fixed it
