Sorry if this isn't in the right forum, but I didn't know where else to put it. Anyway, I got a letter from the Navy today that said I scored in the top ten percent for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). I have no idea what that is, and according to Wikipedia, it is only taken administered at special test locations, so I know for a fact I didn't take it. Has anyone else gotten a letter like this without taking the ASVAB? Is this score related to ACT or something? My state mandated that we take the ACT WorkKeys, so is that where the score is coming from? I'm just really confused haha

Looks like it’s basically the same thing. The Navy may just be using the WorkKeys results to fulfill the ASVAB test and the form letter just has that one option. If you’re not interested in the Navy then ignore it.

The ASVAB is The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. Your school may have had you take it as part of their career process. Or it may be a mixup. Either way, it does not mean much unless you plan to enlist in the Armed Services (they all use the same test).
