<p>I was wondering what kinds of things go on during the orientation. </p>

<p>I know a lot of schools, I don't know if this applies to NYU, so don't quote me on it:
Require students to take placement math, english, and foreign language tests. Sometimes if your SAT/ACT is at a certain rank, you can opt out.</p>

<p>if anyone has experienced this will they be on math, eng, and foreign lang? and if they are, how hard are they (like math...Calc level or.....)</p>

<p>I doubt GSPers have to take placement exams as we really don't have an option as to what classes we can take but I dunno.</p>
