For athletes, are we expected to bring our stuff with us on I-day? Or is that just extra dead-weight that we won't need?

And what can and can't we bring? Or does that vary....?

Most athletes bring their gear a day or two before and drop it off with the coaches.

if you are a recruited athlete, contact your coach; the coaches usually host a welcome event the day prior to I-Day and will collect your gear.

If you are not one of the above, leave your stuff at home to be shipped to you later or brought on PPW. If you do decide to bring it with you, it will be collected in alumni hall.... given back to you....whenever.....hopefully.....

This is a little off-topic, but it still has to do with sports- I was wondering if anyone knows if most varsity teams have some sort of JV team to try out for? I personally want to play girls' lacrosse but I know I'm not good enough for Div I, yet I'd still really like to play if possible and I don't think they have a club team anymore. If there are such teams, when would one try out?

PlebeWannaBe- Tryouts are in the fall, but the team practices during plebe summer and these practices are open to all who are interested. I plan on bringing my stick down and practicing with them, because you never know, and you could always improve over the summer. I don't think they have the club girls lacrosse team, but they do have intramural lacrosse and you could always practice on your own with the hopes of making the team later on.

thanks- so I should bring my stick to I-day just in case?

yeah, you can play during the sports period.
