I am a sophomore at UW-Madison with a 3.85 GPA. I ran track in HS but opted not to run in college due to little time and working to pay for college. I am thinking of transferring to Harvard and after looking at their track statistics I feel I could easily run at their school. Would being a prospective athlete at Harvard increase my chances of being accepted?

I think Harvard is one of the schools that does NOT give like..special consideration to athletes, nor athlete scholarships. Don't take my word for it..but I think it's like that.

you must have been an amazing track star in hs then.

I have a couple school records and regional championships. Harvard is division one but there stats are well below an average D1 school so I'm pretty sure I'll have a chance.

Does anyone else know if being an athlete at Harvard would be a hook for a transfer admission?
