Athletes!

Hispanics, liberals, artists, math geeks... where are all of my athletes?

What sport(s) are you in, and what levels have you competed at in each grade? And what makes your (favorite) sport better than the person above you's sport?

Cross-Country Running (Middle School: 7, 8; Varsity: 9, 10, 11)
Cross-Country Skiing (Middle School: 7, 8; Varsity: 9, 10, 11)
Track & Field (Middle School: 6, 7, 8; Varsity: 9, 10; Manager: 11)

XC Ski is better than the nonexistent sport above because...
We have a ski mob; I'm a member.

Basketball (4-8th grade)
Soccer (1st-9th grade)
Baseball (3rd-9th grade)
Cross country (11, Varsity 12)
Track (Varsity 11,12)

I don't have a favorite sport. I just know that I'm not a fan of golf, and usually tennis (I can appreciate a good match though.)

psst... you're supposed to diss skiing.

Skiing?! I love skiing. I don't compete in it though (just an avid skiier).

Golf (Varsity 9, 10, 11, [12])

XC - varsity 10,11,12 (or at least I will be)
I love skiing as well, but am certainly not good enough to race around here. The racers here are too intense fo me.

kchen - skiing rocks! hence my name, jackson17....although jackson hole isn't cool anymore without the tram.
Freshman - varsity basketball, varsity softball, and AYSO soccer
Sophomore- varsity volleyball (my fav), varsity basketball, varsity softball
Junior - same w/o softball - don't like it.
ah, benefits of a small school - easy to play varsity.

XC - 9-11
Swimming Club - 9-10
Swimming varsity - 11
track - 9

XC- 9,10,11,12
Indoor Track- 10,11,12
Outdoor Track- 10,11,12

But then, I am also a math geek

If I could do sustained exertion, I would have been a member of the track team, as were the last three generations of males in my family. There would have been no way that I could have been in a team sport, seeing as how I don't exactly work well in teams.

I home schooled.... but I do play tennis I've competed in the Junior usa tennis team and trained at BRC.

xc-7,8
track-7,8
golf (JV)-7,8

My favorite sport is golf handsdown. I play on a high school's JV team even though i'm in 8th grade. I will be playing it next year as varsity.

I love Tennis and Badminton. Plus, I plan on trying out for Cheerleading this summer.

Hey, some of us crossover!
softball-8 years all year all the time.
Swimming- till sophomore year
I also played field hockey, figure skated, and rode horseback for a while.

I use to play hockey and basketball, but those are in the years that don't count (i.e. before high school).

Rugby - 10, 11, 12 (barring any serious injuries making me sit the season out, of course)
Rugby Sevens - 11, 12 (if they actually start it back up)
Softball - 12

Seeing as we're lucky to field a full fifteen-person team plus an alternate, there's no such thing as a varsity/j-v division in rugby, or in sevens. And I'll be playing softball for a school that doesn't have divisions for softball due to being a small school.

hmmm where to begin..

skiing (age 3 to present)
soccer (ages 4-15)
basketball (age ~8-15)
softball (started w/ little league baseball when younger, still play softball now and play year round)
snowboarding (age 13 to present)
winter track (soph year)
golf (for a few random summers i was in this junior league)

i think i covered most of it. i've tried nearly every sport i possibly could

XC- 11, 12
Indoor Track- 9, 10, 11, 12 (Manager: 11)
Outdoor Track- 9, 10, 11, 12

Track is basically my life.

JV Lacrosse 10
Varsity Lacrosse 11 + next year

Fooball (10-11)
Indoor Track(9-11)
Outdoor Track(9-11)

Theres a lot of runners here.

uhh... tennis 9-11

i feel inadequate

I'm very disappointed in ALL of you. You forgot the best part of my instructions.

Cross-country skiing is way better than tennis because we get to show off our bodies in full 70's-style spandex instead of an ugly skirt.
