How many of you guys play sports?

i run cross country varsity and track

our team went to State this year. I think I barely broke 17 minutes at Fresno.

2 mile for track.

I'm in Varsity Rifle Team, I shoot both air-rifles and small-bore rifles (22's)

I'm also a master at PingPong, and am ok at tennis

BTW, NO, im NOT a Republican

I run indoor/outdoor track and I'm a sprinter. Our team went to states, but we lost. It really sucked, but all in all we had a good season.

I might go out for the swim team next year.

cross country, indoor track, and lacrosse

I play tennis at least every other day in the off season. Unfortunately I can't touch the top players in the state, they play around four to five hours a day (literally) during the season and during the off season. Tennis teams don't go to state competing as a team, but we came second in conference behind a really good team. I play ping a few times a week, im pretty good at that. I'm a republican! I wish my school had gun sports, I've never shot a real gun, but I have played paintball.

Used to do hockey, but now it takes too much time, so I'm looking to do track or X-country.

For all X-Country runners: What's a good mile time for beginners?

soccer.....

Tennis....

soccer... tennis

Well, I am really bad at most sports. But does Ultimate Frisbee count? (It's a club at school)

I do competitive swimming in the fall, and synchronized swimming in the winter (2nd in state), and I also swim all summer, but just as practice and not competitively.

varsity football
varisty spring track

junior varsity xc

varsity tennis

soccer and tennis..

Varsity Cross country and Track too...
Except here in the city, we run mostly 2.5 miles instead of 3.1 miles, which is the standard distance (I think).

varsity lacrosse

varsity field hockey

JV Track and Field (I'm a freshman, rising sophomore. =D)

Varsity Track and XC. A good mile time for a beginner depends on age really, and your definition of good. A freshman ran a 4:16 at the NY State meet this year, and one ran 4:10 in Maine, but unless you're expecting to be a very serious competitor I'd say 5:20-5:45. It really depends on age though. Whatever your mile time is, just run and you'll see it go down, fast.

I play football and also wrestle for school.
