<p>I really want to row for Yale, but my school doesn't have a crew team (actually, there really isn't any water anywhere...I live in Nebraska).</p>

<p>How would I contact a coach about the team or possible recruitment? In an info packet they sent me, it said that Crew was one of the few varsity sports that doesn't require previous experience...</p>

<p>I'm in decent shape and I have been involved in track (I was a thrower) so I could probably be a good rower....</p>

<p>Any help would be great!</p>

<p>you cant get recruited if you havent rowed. you can get in, and then walk on. thats what they mean when they say no experience necessary. recruiting is for high school rowers who are good</p>

<p>you can find coaches' emails by going to the yale crew website if you'd like to ask them questions. just google it</p>
