<p>Anyone know athletic programs at Canadian universities? How competitive are varsity teams (equiv to US D1, D2, D3)? Do they recruit at all? Do athletic scholarships exist (for Canadians or others)? or do many of the top athletes in Canada attend US colleges?</p>
<p>Depends on what sport. I know that baseball, for example, in Ontario isn’t very good. Maybe equivalent to DIII or lower DII in the US. I can’t answer much more.</p>
<p>I would think that the majority of top athletes in Canada flee to the US on scholarships.</p>
