attaching a meaningful photograph that is partially described in essay...

Hi everyone.

I have just started this brilliant essay that answers the common application prompt about "what you would bring to the diversity in a college community."

I went to my homeland Lebanon when I was 10 years old for one trip and actually stood flush against the border between Lebanon and Israel. The essay needs revising, but this experience, I said, seemed to mark the commencement of being open-minded, especially about the Israeli-Arab conflict.

I have a photograph of myself and several other members of my family all standing at the border fence. It's a spectacular picture...nothing National Geographic or anything...but it fits so well in my essay. Do you think I can attach it along with this essay?

If anyone (not in the class of 2008!) would like to read my essay, just PM me.

Thanks,
beirut08

It probably wouldn't hurt you, so I'd say go for it. Last year one of the ones I almost picked they actually wanted us to attach a photograph. It's not like they're going to penalize you...

I would attach.
