any possible ideas for this prompt? i’m not looking to copy anyone at all because then the essay woulndt show my genuine voice and thats what is most important but i’m just completely lost on where to start thinking of ideas.

People encounter and interact with borders every day. How do you see borders affecting or enhancing your knowledge or actions in the future? Whether it’s tangible or abstract, real or imagined, we want to know how borders might be a part of your life or your culture.

Write a list of what you think of when you first hear the word border. Don’t worry about it being stupid. Then try and refine it from there.

I agree with that ^ What are “borders” to you?
How does it affect your life?
Does it have relation to anything special in your life?

It can be a border on a picture frame (it would be a cool intro) or a border like a legit border.
