i have 9 activities i really want to put on so should i attach a resume to the common app?

also, i dont have any honors/awards for my volunteering...do most people have them?

Yeah, a majority of applicants will have honors/awards. They don't have to be something amazing even school awards (Student of Month, Honor Roll, etc.) suffice. Under ECs, try to put the main ones where you have leadership, won an award, etc. You can do a resume but unless it adds something major I would'nt go through the trouble.

lol i mean specifically for my Volunteering work. I'll put Volunteering in one of my EC slots but it also asks for honors which I don't have. I have honors for other clubs though.

also, you know how you have to write 150 words on an EC? does it have to be an EC you listed as your top 7? because there's on EC that I really like but it's not really competitive and I don't have many awards for it. I just really like it and it is like a stress reliever.

Ana, it's best to write about the EC that you genuinely enjoy. It doesn't matter if it's not competitive or that you don't have awards for it. The schools want to get a sense of who you are, what makes you tick, so if your activity does that, write about it.

Alright, thanks! so it doesn't matter if I don't include that EC in my top 7 but I write about it?
