Ey-oh! So I'm trying to transfer to Penn in the Fall and I feel as if it's a long shot. Any analysis to be given?

Stats:

HS GPA: ~3.83
First Semester College GPA: 3.6 (Will this kill me? ): )
ACT Composite: 31

ECs:
Martial Arts (Listed as a couple activities because I've done different types for several years)
Parliamentary Debate Society
Phi Alpha Delta
College Secular Society
College Philosophy Club
Capitol Area Model Arab League Conference (Won best delegation)
Internship with National Council on US-Arab Relations (Related to above)

Also believe I got really good recommendations from my professors from first semester.

Apologies for shameless chance thread.

You didn’t say if this was a community college or a university. Your GPA is pretty low and that fall GPA is going to kill you. Your chances look real slim, good luck.

It’s GWU in DC. Related, will their recent…er…problems affect my chances at all? D:

And even if my midterm report looks good?

Oh, some additional stuff I forgot to mention (As far as distinctions go):

AP Scholar (It should be with Distinction because I took 4 exams and got all 5s but w/e)
Phi Beta Kappa (State level award)

EC Stuff: In Martial Arts: 1st Degree black belt, demo team won second in the North American circuit.

Also not exactly sure how current my HS GPA is, as that was the one I submitted to freshman college apps. It had yet to factor in my AP US and English grades, as well as other pretty high ones.
