Attention all low gpa csu transfers!!

I need your help. Please Chance me. I'm applying to all the CSU for electrical engineering. Transferring from CCC in Southern California. My GPA is 2.39 at the time of this message, I'm applying for next fall. I've satisfied all my GE requirements and also am nearly done with major prep all for about 2 more courses. Please chance me. I've been dreaming/praying to transfer for over 8 years...I've manage to earn ALL C grades in my GE and B's and C's in my science/math courses. Any input or advise and help would be greatly appreciated...

Worried Student in So Cal

I am going to revive this thread.

I am in the similar situation as you. I have a low GPA of 2.24. :frowning:
Long story short, I blew up a chance at UC Davis after I had transferred from a CC. So I am back at CC to transfer to a CSU as an electrical engineer. I do ask if you got admitted and to which CSU did you get in.

The biggest challenge that I think you face is your majors. Electrical Engineering is probably going to be impacted at nearly all CSUs for the following reason. Usually CSU graduates are at a disadvantage when looking for jobs compared to UC graduates but a graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly SLO, SJSU or Sac State is going to have more job offers at higher salaries than any Philosophy, Political Science, Communications and English majors whe graduated from UCs, even UCLA and UCB are going to have.
