<p>I'll still claw you to the death over the position that MSU's Higher Ed PhD program is superior to U-M's Higher Ed PhD program. But otherwise we're largely on the same page, Quincy4. :)</p>
<p>micromom - Your assessment is what I've found as well with my friends. Maybe it's because UM is in my own backyard and people take it for granted, but the people I know at MSU love their school a lot more than kids at Michigan. I ask about ~50 of my friends at each school how they like it and have yet to receive a passionate response from someone at Michigan, where as MSU students use the words "love" and "great". Some of this may have to do with Michigan being difficult and State being a bigger party school, as a tough work load will give anyone poor sentiments towards their school.</p>
