What can I expect from Chemistry and Math placement exams for my science major? In other words what should I study for?

Is this to determine what course you should take, or to qualify for a major? If it’s the first one, I’ve never had to take a placement test for Chemistry, but don’t study too hard, because the point is to determine what the right fit is for you course-wise. You don’t want to place into a really high-level course that you aren’t actually prepared for.

Right, I had not that about that point. Hmm and about the other question–whether it is to qualify for a major or to determine what course to take–I am not completely sure. I am guessing it is to determine my classes. Also are you a current science major?

I’m a Behavioral Biology and Applied Math double major. I took a placement test to get out of a language requirement, so I’m familiar with what they’re for, but I haven’t actually taken tests for science or math (I place out automatically because of AP credits, so I just go to the next course)

Awesome! How is behavioral biology different from other types of biology, more specifically general biology?
