AU and GMU as safety schools?

<p>SAT I: 1460 SAT II: 790, 800, 800
Class Rank: 56/452
6 AP exams already, 7 more this spring (so far 3 5s and 3 4s)
ECs suck/don't exist/I'm lazy</p>

<p>So, could George Mason Univ. and American Univ. be considered safety schools for me? I'm pretty sure for GMU, but not so for AU.</p>

<p>AU is definitely a safety for you-- probably with full tuition merit scholarship.</p>

<p>AU would be a safety.. your SAT is high but not sure on scholarships without the ECs</p>

<p>Yes, you can consider both schools to be safeties for you. I disagree with Kinshasha about a full ride though... that's a bit optimistic.</p>

<p>Also look at DePauw U....they have merit awards for people who have at least a 3.2 gpa and score above 1250 on their SATs.</p>
