I'm looking for an East Coast safety school that has a Political Science program that is at least respectable.

GPA: UW - 3.02
W - 3.28

SAT: CR - 660
M - 680
W - 640

ACT: E - 34
S - 30
M - 30
R - 34
Comp - 32
My lowest "safety" so far is George Mason University in Virginia. I'm looking for one that is more secure. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Your SAT & ACT scores are quite good- you could get merit $ to American in DC, definitely in at VA Tech, nice little school is Bridgewater College (VA)

VT isn’t a safety. Unless you’re an athlete, you have to be in those requirements. (If you’re like Vick, they don’t care about your grades.)

Safety-wise, all I could name are ones in Virginia. Longwood is mainly for teaching. They might have a good program. Though the school is in the middle of nowhere. Which may not be for some. And I’m not sure if it’d be a safety or a high possibility match for you.

Umm, Bluefield College and Radford have reputations as safety schools…Not sure about their programs…

Washington & Jefferson College
philadelphia university
Ohio Northern University–a little west on the east coast…has a law school, if that is your end game.
