Au rd 2022

@StressedTeen2018 same here. I’ve heard that there is little $$ left for waiting list. Not to mention the $$ to sign on elsewhere, which you more or less have to do.

@apdns19 I assume nonexistent. If I’m not good enough if their eyes to make regular admission, I doubt they’d sweeten the pot in the unlikely case I got in off the waitlist. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

@StressedTeen2018 lol - you are certainly good enough. Not the right fit. I’m moving on from AU…

Things happen for a reason. Be happy in whatever you ultimately choose

Nothing in northeast PA :frowning:

Still nothing in Chicago. Should I be worried?! My mail was already delivered

Acceptance in SoCal today via snail mail.

@chicago05 I’m chicago too I was able to make a portal and see the congrats but I haven’t gotten my packet yet let’s hope tomorrow

How do you find the program accepted to in the portal?

still nothing- they could at least have the decency to tell me i got denied…

@collegemom2000 you have to create a myAU account

Nothing in CT today. I was able to make a portal and see the congrats last night but I’d feel better if I had the actual letter confirming it.

@keeks2018 we did create an account on the portal and I see she has been accepted. But it makes no mention of her major.

why would they deny me? I see no one on here who got denied. Why do they not send out denial letters either?

Nothing in Missouri.

I just got my acceptance in the mail today! New Hampshire

Does anyone know the formula for this? We haven’t received anything yet, but the preponderance of the evidence says waitlist or denial (no portal access). We have several other options, but they aren’t in DC, at least so far. Son was even accepted at a couple or reach schools. We just don’t get it. I would like to figure it out sometime in the next 2 years before my next one goes. Apparently, really good scores, AP and lots of EC doesn’t cut it.

@collegemom2000 AU doesn’t admit by major

@keeks2018 my daughter had to audition for her major and needs to be accepted to the program in order to declare it. I see other people here stating they were accepted to a particular program; I am wondering where they are seeing this.

@collegemom2000 obviously that’s different then, I would suggest to just wait for the letters
