I am currently a junior in high school. My core classes are AP English, AP US History, Honors Physics, and honors precal with various electives. My schedule has been like this for the past 2 years. My weighted GPA sits at a 3.9 and I have raised my ACT from a 19 to a 25. I am in National Honor Society, key club since freshman year, and first priority since freshman year. I work part-time which makes it difficult to get more involved. I have my heart set on Auburn and both my parents graduated there if that makes any difference. Any idea of what my chances are? Thanks for any advice.
I think your chances are very high. If your act was higher (2 or 3 points higher), I’d say it were a safety. Auburn basically does a modified rolling admission, so apply as early as possible. This year they started releasing decisions at the end of September. There are some short answer questions, but they basically only look at test scores, grades, and rigor.
