<p>I am a rising senior this year and am considering attending Auburn University in 2011 (Fall), but not sure what to major in. I have been looking at Wireless Engineering. I don’t know whether to take the hardware or software designation. Has/Is anyone majored in this? If you have graduated what type of job have you acquired? Any and all advice/input is greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>I think for Network engineers there is a bigger demand for the software. I only say this because of some jobs in the future list I saw a few years ago. The list didn’t specify Wireless. Are there any IT people in your area you could possibly ask? BTW, this does sound like a cool major and it makes me wish I was young again and going off to school.</p>
