<p>My D received her letter from the University of Miami yesterday. She was accepted for BA Theatre Arts and waitlisted for BFA Musical Theatre. I called to Miami today and was informed that they accepted 9 hoping to yeild 6 and 3 were waitlisted.</p>
<p>We got the same letter.</p>
<p>I know you called, so I am not doubting what was told to you, but I already know of four people, including myself, who were waitlisted for the BFA. </p>
<p>If those numbers are true it really is an honor to have made it on the waitlist! </p>

Perhaps I misunderstood but he told me there were 3 waitlisted for the BFA Musical theatre. I know they also have BFA acting. It is possible that he meant 3 girls since it was my daughter that I was calling about. Whatever the case, just passing along info I was given.</p>
<p>I probably was confused about what I heard. Thanks for the info and congrats again to your daughter! Hope everything works out for her.</p>
