Still waiting in CA …
Is anyone else still waiting?

Anyone else still waiting?
CA, subject test
Yes and I’m wondering since it’s after 5 EST, does that mean nothing else will get posted til tomorrow? Or dare I say, MONDAY???
I called customer service, and he said it could be as late as 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
So we have to keep compulsively checking all evening too. Thanks for letting me know. Good luck!
You, too!
Got my sons score for subject SAT
CA
Thanks for letting me know. Hope springs eternal …
My DS got two “difficult” ones wrong and got 790. I don’t know how it is scored but it apparently is not based on the number of mistakes alone.
My son got 1 question wrong in math and got a 780. His friend got 1 wrong and got an 800. The question my son got wrong was a medium difficulty question (two boxes filled). Is it scored correctly? Thanks.
Seems like they made a scoring error here. How do you inquire? Anyone know?
@blairbeach Different test versions have different scoring scales. To compare to another student’s score, one would need to know that they both took the same test form/version. More difficult questions are not worth a different amount of points.
Someone just said they got two difficult questions wrong and got a 790, so how would 1 medium wrong be a 780? Everyone takes the same test on the same test date with the same curve with degree of difficulty factored in, correct?
@blairbeach No. There are always multiple forms given on any one test date. Typically there seems to be one form most common and then some less common/rare forms. Each form has its own scoring scale. The scale is based on the total right/wrong and difficuly level of the particular questions missed is not relevant.
Ok, then he got a hard curved test, I guess. Thanks for explaining!
not disappointed with my score, but will retake in October for a stronger one.
My kid as well. Missed one hard math question. 780. Missed 4 reading/ 2 writing for a 730. Northern Virginia. This was extended time testing, and I believe they used a different form for that.
Class of 2020 kiddo, so I think this was a one and done for them.
