My son had extended time too! Why would extended time kids get a different test? Seems strange.
I’m assuming talking in the hallways and bathrooms if one group of kids is behind another group in progressing through the sections?
That makes sense!
What does “extended time” testing mean? For accommodation purpose? My son missed five reading and 2 writing and got 750. So quite different from yours. @NOVA2024
My son has a learning disability so needs more time to finish the SAT’s
Ditto. It’s extra time to complete the SAT sections due to a documented learning disability for a kid under a 504/IEP.
Meanwhile, still waiting …
I got my scores at about 5:45. Missed one math (800) and six EBRW (760). After June, this was a VERY nice curve.
(Same curve as October '17 international…because it was the same exam.)
@SRmom2019 Anything yet? Still nothing here in Illinois…When you talked to them and they said they’d post til midnight, did they say everything would be posted by then? Or are we going to endure suspense tomorrow too? Or later than that?
@sagehen47 Nothing yet. I don’t know if they will post scores over the weekend or not.
@SRmom2019. I don’t imagine they’ll answer their phones either. Sigh.
@sagehen47 I know. One tidbit I did learn is that the scores are posted manually. It seems to me that they could load them all in advance and release them all at the same time. It seems unfair and it is worrisome to have scores
released so much later than everyone else. I wonder how many others are still awaiting their scores?
My child in GA got the acores first thing this am. Score went up 10 points to 1500. Never studied for SAT.
@SRmom2019–posted manually? That’s surprising. But I agree, they should either release them all at once or plan to do it a few states at a time, like they do with AP exams.
This is crazy. We’re still waiting for scores here in Illinois. Anyone else still waiting???
We got scores yesterday, and then 5 hrs later got the email saying scores were ready. Lol.
Still waiting in CA…
@SRmom2019 This stinks because I am doubtful they will post anything over the weekend. I got a response from a parent in a Facebook group that her kid got scores yesterday in Chicago. So they must not be releasing state by state. What is going on??
Two things are really irking me right now about not getting scores as expected yesterday. First, the colleges and universities all get them a few days before the students, so THEY know my son’s scores, but he does not. Second, if it’s possible that they can’t release all scores on the same day, then why start on a FRIDAY? How about on a Monday and then there’s not that weekend gap creating more aggravation.
