To all the Americans and other people around the world that went to Australia for college. What was it like? I'm looking into going there when they start their school year, which is in March I do believe. I'm wanting to major in Anthropology in one of these three Universities, U of Melbourne, ANU in Canberra and U of Sydney. What should I do to make sure I get in, i'm graduating high school in a month and I start summer college classes at my local Community College and i am enrolled for the fall semester there. I know I will need a VISA and I took the mock stuff and i am 100% applicable for it. Also I know it is expensive but it is nowhere near as expensive as going to most of these private colleges and universities here in the states. My mindset is why not give something a try that I think I can do and do it while i'm young.

Have you been in touch with the Education Officer at the closest Australian Consulate? That person should be able to help you find out everything that you need to know.
