Australian choosing between USC, Princeton and Cornell

Hey,
Ive been reading CC compulsivley for the last almost 6 months now leading up to app deadlines and now I actually need to ask my own question. I live in Australia and applied to a lot of colleges in the US and just got all the decisions in the last few days. Now for me my choice is between USC, Princeton and Cornell. At USC I got offered the trustee scholarship, and at Princeton I got offerred around the same amount in financial aid as they give aid to international (I'm expecting Cornell to be about the same with financial aid). Im planning on majoring in Architecture.

Last year I did the summer arch program at USC and loved it so Im kind of biased towards a place I know and already love haha trojan spirit is infectious!

To me the pros for each are:
USC: In cali, really strong alumni, I can see myself working in cali after college and I know the place and loved it

Princeton: best rated undergrad from what i can read, world class and an Ivy, eating clubs sound like they would be awesome

Cornell: best rated arch program, also an Ivy and very well known

My question to all you knowledgeable people on CC is where do you think I should go?

Thanks

Well first of all, Eating Clubs = not awesome
As a freshman and sophmore, it is extremely hard to get passes to the parties at the eating clubs, and they are very exclusive (even the ones that have membership by lottery). Also, you will have to work extremly hard. If you plan on having a social life, I wouldn't go here.

Cornell's architecture department is awesome. I'd say go there without a doubt. And if you are one of those kids who likes prestige, you can always say you turned down princeton -=) (and Cornell, like you said, is an ivy after all)

The location of all three are really different. Princeton is in the suburbs while Cornell is verrrry rural. And the weather's different, as Cornell is a bit colder than Princeton and ALOT colder than USC. Also the student population is very different. Cornell's a lot bigger than Princeton.

It seems like you really like USC, as you can see yourself living/working there, so I vote USC. Also, Cali weather is great, and the culture on the west coast could appeal to you as coming from Australia.

thanks for your advice, holas, wouldn't i have to work just as hard at Cornell as at Princeton? can you tell me anymore about Cornell arch? whys it so awesome?

sunshine_breeze thanks for your advice and yeh thats another point, USC is really big (with graduates and all)

any more advice would be great!

i swear i already saw this thread...
