Authentication Failed

<p>I received my PIN number by e-mail.
But when I try to login using my last name and this PIN it says:</p>

<p>"Authentication Failed</p>

<p>Sorry, you did not enter a valid PIN/name combination. Please check your records and try again."</p>

<p>What do I do wrong?</p>

<p>make sure you are entering your correct 6-digit pin number, and your last name, and make sure that both are in their correct boxes.</p>

<p>OK, I did it (many times), and nothing changed:(</p>

It is just a simple "one-word" name... :/</p>

<p>if you're directly copy/pasting your pin number, sometimes that adds in an extra space (ie "123456 " instead of "123456"). That's what happened to me earlier.</p>

<p>It means Harvard has already rejected you.

If you still haven't gotten it, try typing the numbers instead of using copy/paste. Also, make sure the last name your using is the same one in the email/letter with your pin.</p>

<p>you should also have gotten something thru snail mail with the same info as the email. check if the pin number they give you in there is diff from the one in the email.</p>
